ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration is the process of resetting and aligning the cameras, radar, and sensors that power safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Any time your windshield is replaced, suspension work is done, or your vehicle is in a collision, these systems can fall out of spec and must be recalibrated to function correctly.

Static calibration is performed in a controlled shop environment using manufacturer-specified targets placed at precise distances from the vehicle — no driving required. Dynamic calibration is completed while driving the vehicle at set speeds on roads with clear lane markings so the system can self-learn. Some vehicles require one method, some require both; we follow OEM procedures to determine the correct process for your specific make and model.

Yes — a pre-scan documents all existing fault codes and system statuses before repair work begins, protecting both you and the shop from liability. A post-scan confirms that all systems are functioning correctly after repairs are complete and that no new codes were introduced during the process. Most insurers and OEM repair standards now require both.

Most single-system calibrations take between 1 and 2 hours. More complex jobs involving multiple ADAS systems, a full alignment, and pre/post scanning can take 3 to 4 hours. We'll give you a time estimate when you book so you can plan accordingly.
